Engine codes
I have a 2000 Dodge Rame 2500 Diesel and I'm looking at purchassing one of those code readers / scanners my question to you all is witch one should I buye there are so many out their. I want one that will show me the code number as well as tell me in english what that code means.

Your truck will give you the codes just turn the key on/off/on/off/on and the codes will read out on the odometer. You can look them up online or in a shop manual. DTR has a listing http://wiki.dieseltruckresource.com/wiki/Computer_codes
