You're going from 2nd gen to 1st gen. Just a few things off the top of my head. The 95 is P-pumped. The electrical system is totally different. I noticed my 90 has no crank sensor. 90 had no overdrive.

It would be much easier to swap 93-90 than 95-90

It'll pretty much drop in there using the 1st gen motor mounts.

You'll need to move/modify the trans crossmember due to the added length of the OD unit.

newdad, its not that bad. Does the 90 have cruise? Do you have everything from the 95 at your disposal?

The sensor connections are different, for like water temp and such, so you either adapt the connector or swap the sensor back to the ones from the 90 engine.

Swapping motor mounts over, the fan hub needs to swap over too. Trans crossmember is going to have to move back one set of holes. At least on my RamCharger it did. You have A/C too? preserve the system, and move the compressor from 90 to 95 motor when its coming out, as the bolts are a pain in the truck.

Your throttle cable will hook up, but you'll need to shim it some, as the pedal will get lower, and you'll lose some throttle range.
