JC Whitney has cheap imitations. For the real deal, galls.com, thefirestore.com, powercallsirens.com, and there are more. Might find a good deal new or used on Ebay. May I ask what you intend to use it for? I see someone getting in trouble with the law....

He's talking about the horn, not the siren. Those horns are most likely train style air horns as loud as they are....

Sorry... he did say electronic though?.... anyway, if your talking about AIR horns most emergency equipment uses Grover air horns - could probably google it. Once again - don't be dumb with it or Rosco will be all over you. Have heard of local DOT cracking down on the train horns that a lot of truckers install....

I'd like to find a really loud horn myself that didn't require an air compressor. Air horns are nice but that's a lot of scratch for a horn...

J C Whitney and other catalogs have Wolo brand horns that have a mini compressor built into them and are louder than stock, but no train horn. You can also get electric horns that are louder than stock from catalogs, Griot's Garage has them both I think.

But no sound clips!!!

I'd pay $69.99 for their truck horn if I could hear it first. If anyone has one please get us a soundbite.......
I did a Google search but no luck....

Whelen makes a siren box with just their airhorn sound in it, not other sounds can come out of the box. They also have one of these airhorn boxes with a PA option. You are probably looking at $200 for the box and a 100w speaker.
