I'm gonna be doing an elecrical one next time. I had a mechanical one on an older truck and didn't like it too much, you fill part of the hose with fuel, then theres a fitting and the hose going into the cab you fill with antifreeze/coolant. Was kinda a wierd setup...it was an isspro gauge. I'd def buy the 30psi electric gauge...anything above that is kinda a waste.

What was so weird about that Jordan? The Isspro mechanical has an isolator (what you are talking about). Reason why coolant is used is to keep the line from freezing in the cab from cold weather. Plumb it good and it will cause you no trouble.

I went with the 60psi electric since I didn't like the idea of fluids in the cab.

Not to hijack, but where can a guy get a 3 gauge kit with pyro, mechanical boost and electric fuel pressure?

Well, ok maybe not weird. I just didn't like running any fluid in the cab of the truck. But the mech. is cheaper than the electric....I'm going electric all around next...or this time lol.

Should be able to find all 3 at genos garage. Autometer sometimes has kits like that.

Thanks

I don't think there is a common link on the website for that. You need to call them and specify what you are wanting...

The Isspro EV2 Performax gauges are more what you are looking for... comes with a 1/8" npt pressure sensor.
