Electric Window Switch

The passenger side window will go down from the Drivers side controls but will not go up. The switch on the passengers side works fine. Can someone tell me how to access the switches, so I can examine the wiring, without damaging the door panels?
Has this problem happened to anyone else and how did you fix it. Thanks for any input.

Just saw the video by madhat that looks easy enough to remove the door panel. Hope I can figure out why the switch won't raise the window.

Took door panel off and all wires seem OK. I suspect my problem is inside the switch itself. I remember leaving the window open some months ago and the panel got rained on. Before I buy another switch wanted to see if anyone else had similar problem and does a new switch fix it?
Also looks like there is no need to remove door panel , the bezel for the window controls just pops off allowing easy access to the switch.

Yeah, that is your multifunction switch on the driver door. Mine went bad a while back, did the same thing except for it was the lock button. It would lock, but not unlock, stuff like that. Swapped it out with the wife's to trouble shoot, worked like a champ.

Like Madhat, I had the same problem, took the driver side module out ( no need to remove door panel, it pops out if you pry it carefully), cleaned it out with contact cleaner as it looked like someone had spilt coffee in it, and it has worked fine ever since.

if that doesn't work re-solder the connections on the switch after you take it out. Do a search on window switch fix go down 10 lines to where last report was by Dodgezilla has pics and all i did mine simple fix. Contacts where cracked re-soldered them works like new

I recently soldered the two connections on the circuit board as well. This was a simple repair that can save you 125.00 at the dealer for a new switch assembly.

Thanks for the help , replaced the multifunction switch, which took all of about 2 mins. by pulling up on it, didn't have to remove door panel. All is well again.

You beat me to it. I fixed mine for FREE by soldering the two known bad terminals and cleaning the switch contacts.
