I installed a Pricol gauge set in my truck earlier this year and recently my EGT gauge will randomly quit working while driving down the road. I can thump the face of it and it will act right for a while before repeating. These are the first I have ever installed before... I have always put Isspro's in trucks in the past. I followed the directions to the letter... has anyone had issues with these before? Is there something I may be able to try before buying a new gauge/ kit? As usual I am grateful for any assistance... this site has always been a big help to me-

loose connections is what i would check mine did the same thing also i noticed when i installed my gauge the 2 leads that connect to the probe were touching and shorting each other out i separated them with some e tape and all was better.

That's what I'd check first too. After that, might be more internally with the gauge itself, if you tap on it and it works a bit, look at getting it replaced...or try breakin it down yourself, but I'd just swap it out.
