EGR calipers

Has anyone purhcased EGR b/p calipers? I think I might have to change to them but they are costly, just want to make sure they will last longer than the stock ones.
I keep having a brake hanging problem and I hope this will fix it.

What is your braking problem???????if this is a hipshot it might fix it ,but if it is not the callipers it wont!
(In other words you have to be addressing the problem to fix it .a new set of whatevers will only do that if the problem was there)

The blue printed calipers, they said dodge had a flaw in there caliper design when they get hot they can hang up. EGR uses a diffrent tolerance for clearance and bore the piston hole true to the guide holes.

the way it works- the seal and 'o' rings in the caliper will pull the piston back slightly when off the brake.....what you describing is a' siezed' caliper for some reason is hanging up a little. probly wants new 'stuff' in side it to make it retract. ( all disk brakes will drag a little.)
