EDM 1.5's

Can I run the EDM 1.5's and my EZ with my current set-up? Don't want the expense of a turbo just yet, but want more than the 275's. Like the sound of the EDM's over the DDII's. What is the torque increase of the 1.5's?

I haul my slide-in in the summer and haul a 5000 pound cargo trailer, sometimes both at the sametime. Plus its a daily driver.

Well, I am biased but yes you can certainly run those with ease. I have guys towing huge loads with even a 2.

Don...I will soon be installing a set off your injectors in an otherwise stock 2001 HO...they should be arriving any day now. I can't wait to see the difference and the look on this guys face. ;D

Don,
I've got a friend who wanted the 12v mach 3's. He has a 94 12v with a piers HX-35 w/16cm non wastegated housing. Is It too much. He also has an auto-3gsk-scotty2-TST #5 plate-all guages.

Re:EDM 1.5's

Don,
Thanks! He will be happy that he can use the Mach 3's. Now to get them ordered. Don would it be quicker if the cores were sent to you first? I know that you have been covered up. I'm going to be ordering a big set of 24v injectors soon. I can't decide whether I'm going to twin my B1 Quickspool and B-2 or my B1B Quickspool and B-2. Do you have any input?
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
Thanks,

Re:EDM 1.5's

Don,

Thanks for your opinion. 2's seemed abit to much, "for now" ;D. I just wanted to make sure the 1.5's would work without EGT issues for my setup. Sounds like I made a good choice as I ordered a set of the 1.5's. Will I have to play with the EZ setting or is there a recommended setting? I run on setting 3 with the 275's.

Meacham,

I will have some dyno numbers in a week or so with the KSB1B and the B-2 turbo. Nathan is building a set now for a guy and is gonna give them a dyno run or two.

Send the cores..it is slightly faster.

pcab4,

I think it depends on the load you tow, the temp outside and the wind you are fighting what setting is best.
