I have a 2000 Dodge, my brother has an 02. He's thinking about selling it and is going to give me that Edge setup he has on his truck. Will this work on my truck? According to the model numbers on the programmer there is a difference, but what is it? Does anyone know or have they ever successfully done this? Salesman just want to sell me a new one and tell me what they think will accomplish that. Let me know what you all think.

Im not sure of the differences in the units but if there is, take the one your brother gives you and sell it in the classifieds or ebay and by the one that will work with your truck!

Just call edge and they will be able to tell you. It may be just the harness and you can buy one from them cheap.

the map sensor plugs are different

the different harnesses should be all it boils down to, because every chip has settings (at least on the monitor) for 98.5-00, 01, and 02. call edge to make sure though.
