edge vs. quad

Guys we are thinking of putting one of these two power adders on our truck reason is we have no guages on it yet. looks like both of these have capability to show guage functions. Also which one is the better made programer out of the two. We will be pulling a 30 fl. camper a few times a year with this truck. Any input or ideas would be great thanks a lot. Joe

If u are into custom tuning and all out power get quad, if u want great power and don't want to worry about tuning get edge (I love mine), the edge is well made!!! Can't say either way for the quad

Looks as if us Edge guys are loadin up tonight haha.
Ive had my juice for about 6 months and had an EZ for over a year before that and wouldnt change it at all.

I agree with these guys... Edge, IMO, is a little more.. rock solid to me. Yea I like big power and the occasional smoke show, but I dont think I need to get into CUSTOM tunes and stuff for my DD / work truck.

Had a Quadzilla Commander and the quality was bad. The fuel pressure issue made me switch to Edge Juice with Attitude and I love it! The quality of the unit is excellent and the components are top notch. I have had no problems and the customer service is excellent....

I've always purchased from Thoroughbred diesel when I can't get it on the DTR store, they'll work on the price if you call them. I've had both the adrenaline and the edge juice with attitude, the edge didn't have near the grunt as the adrenaline. Having the custom tuning on the adrenaline has been absolutely amazing, to be able to have three seperately stored power curves at once is pretty handy. I've got a fuel mileage curve, a towing curve, and an all out racing curve, all with their 11 power levels. Not to mention the guardian defueling system on the adrenaline is leaps ahead of any of edges hit the wall defueling. Both are great companies though, guess I'm a little biased.

I dont mean this in any negative way at all... notice that Marine4life also has stacked Quad w/Smarty, Water/meth, and Mach 6+'s with a bigger turbo!!! hahaha

As was said, Quad is good if your really pushin for that big power and gettin into custom tunes etc etc. I like the J/A cause its just more solid to me.
JMO.

And it looks like your gettin the big power your goin for Marine, Sounds like a good set up

I hear ya, I never dyno'ed with the edge on though. Those dyno numbers are actually when I had my mach 4's in, im now way over fueling my turbo since I moved from sea level(North Carolina) to mile high(denver). I actually sold my edge to a good friend(very good looking woman) who blew up her transmission the 1st week she had it on there(I told her not to take it above level 2). She tows with it on a regular basis and races the hell out of it. I would never say edge is not a solid unit, it never gave me the least bit of trouble. I've had my issues with the adrenaline(surging etc...), but they took care of me and got it fixed. I think in his application the edge would probably suit him better.

i dynoed the same with the adrenaline as i did with the regular comp. the most powerful tune on the dyno was the 1000 tune it made 540 hp. the comp tune olny made 505. and a custom tune i made thet felt real strong on the street barley broke 500. i was a little discuraged with the adrenaline after this. all the bucking and surging, and stalling the truck and it made a little less than 3hp more then the old simple edge comp
