edge-low boost fueling question???

when i change it off of the default #1 setting and go back to check it to make sure it is at the new setting- it is back at the #1 setting!! i called edge today- they said it changes to my new setting-but when i go back to check it again, the unit assumes i am going to change it again and defaults back to default setting #1!! i never read any posts, etc on this site about this. can anybody confirm this? thanks.

I believe that is correct. You should be able to tell by the amount of smoke and how fast it spools.

Mine retains the last setting. If I set the level 2 (Tow) to low boost of 3 that is where it is when I go back into it.

Exhaust opacity (smoke) is a tough thing to tell between each individual level.

Although I don't have any experience with the Attitude it just doesn't make any sence for it to show the previous setting and not the present setting. How many electronic gizmos do you know that will show you the previous setting and not the present one. Total horse pucky. Call and talk to someone else or better yet e-mail them from their website. It might take a couple of days for them to respond but I'll bet you'll get a different answer.

My thoughts it's defective. I would be sending it back for an updated on or a refund. Their choice.

Mine does that, and I know it is functioning correctly. I can tell a difference if I change the setting. But no matter what I set it to, when I go back in it is on the first setting.

As Camper Andy said

It should keep the settings that YOU put in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Must be an issue with your box.

finally- edge explained why some onwers have it stay when they switch the setting, while others-it defaults back to setting #1. here is their response!

We have different versions out there. So some of the
older versions will retain the info because it is an older version
attitude. The newer ones will do as I said before. So if you want to
send yours in, I can test it for you, but that is just the way the newer
attitude works. Let me know.
