What do you think, is it worth it to unlock my hot code on my Edge ? Just exactly what will it do for me. I use my truck as a daily driver and don't hotrod much. I pull a 5th W toyhauler maxing at under 9k a few times a year.

If you dont hotrod much, Id say leave it locked and get those injectors you want.

The extra fueling betewwn 2700 and 3200 rpm isnt noticeable IMO and if you just DD and tow once in a while, you fo sure wont notice it.

All it will do is give you higher EGT's and more smoke.

You'd probably not notice the gain. I'd still get it anyways just to have it lol. It's always fun to goose it once in a blue moon.

clutch first, turbo and sticks next. I couldn't save my stock clutch with an EZ! ...and I drive like a grandpa (which I am, so I guess that's OK)

Judging by the threads I have read, (getting a J/A soon), I should not even bother tapping the pump wth my stock automatic tranny?

Tap the pump. The trans will be wasted in a small amount of time either way. Get and good transmission and let the fun begin. I didn't tap the pump right away and my trans didnt last very long. Maybe a few months.

Bummer, was hoping trans would last a little while, so budget wise what transmission is best to replace it with? Or, can I have the current one rebuilt and beefed up?

I should back up... you could get by for a while. But, I had to much fun and kept puting the juice on #5. If you can keep your foot out of it, you will be okay for a while. But the power is addicting! I chose the Georends transmission out of Iowa. They have a very good trans.

Cool, I'll check it out, I don't do alot of heavy towing but I drive 70 miles to work and back everyday and want some extra passing power on the highway, figured a small power adder would work but by the time I bought gauges I could by the J/A.

Sorry about side tracking the thread guys, but I have one more question. I have a Fass 95 Series setup, is that Ok for the J/A. I don't plan on running it on level 5 much.
