Edge Juice issue

Anybody in here have any problems with the mounting of the Juice module on top of the fuse box, or anywhere for that matter with it getting pretty warm to the touch and weakening the integrity of the velcro tape that it came with? It is getting so warm that the velcro tape just won't hold the weight of the module and it slides down...what have some of ya'll done?

I had the same problem with mine. I happened twice to me, slid down, kinked a wire and shut off. Not fun trying to find a safe place to pull over with the trailer and no boost! I just took the Velcro off and cleaned both surfaces with alcohol then used two sided trim tape (the stuff you use for body moldings). No problems since.

I placed mine on the side of the battery and wedged it between the battery and wires.

I have a long heavy duty tie wrap around the module(TST now, did same on juice) and the fuse box. This is just additional security to keep the box in place.

I found that the easiest (since the stock velcro glue was already shot) was to just tuck it away next to the battery...no hassle. Geez, you would think that they would take into consideration that it gets pretty hot under there and that the adhesive would probably end up being an issue...oh well, thanks for the replies guys

with the zipties you can clip them all and it doesnt leave all that adhesive that dealers love to look for.

That's a good idea.. I just installed the MP-8 and I was thinking what if the dealer saw that?? Not that my truck will be stock much longer.. Whent they see the A5K they will be calling me to come get the truck..
