I have recently been presented with an opportunity to buy a used Edge EZ for $50. I was planning on buying a Smarty in the future, but it make take a while to work up the cash.

Do you guys think this is a good deal, or should I just be patient and get the Smarty down the road? I don't want to throw a less than desirable programmer on my truck that will do something the Smarty can't undo later.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the Edge works then go buy it. For $50 you can't really go wrong. As for problems if you abuse the extra power then you will break stuff. The same will happen with the SMARTY.
Buy a set of Gauges Pyro, Boost and you will be good to go.

I'd buy it and then stack it with the Smarty later on. That IS a great deal...

Crap! I keep forgetting that I don't really have an "04". It says that it is for 03-04 only. I'm guessing that excludes my 600 series. Oh well, it's part of a package deal. I really want the center caps he's selling so I can complete my H2 conversion. If anyone's interested, I'll let you know how to get it.
