Edge EZ and Mach 4's?
Anyone running an edge ez and Mach 4's? How's it working out?
Right now my comp isn't tapped because I'm waiting to get home to CO (Dec. 2010) before doing that - don't want to swap a new vp44 out here in MI.

I've run M4sa with a nothing else but a timing box or a Smarty for 4 years now.
I love the combination. It was daily driveable even in Cheyenne altitude.
Definitely have to watch EGT in thin air. Towing you can do, but not heavy, and do not challenge your EGT limit.
Having the stock turbo is a huge help with the M4s-- the quick response keeps smoke down and makes keeps you ahead of the EGTs better in thinner air.
I would NOT recommend a larger turbo with M4s in thin air. The extra lag will cause you to be fighting EGT all the time...

ditto. on the larger charger. with mine empty driving around 800 elevation is a great combo. but with what I have on the truck and go to the mountains or lakes. at elevations of 5k-6k running empty I have to lower the TST run smarty on level 3 and watch the egt's it can get to 12-1400 quickly.

So Mach 4 and the stock HX with an ez seem to be a good combo at least for empty, and maybe even light (10k max) towing?
What about a tapped Comp?
What about twins? Would that be a better upgrade to do, rather than just a larger single?

Yes, in my opinion.
Tapped Comp you could do also, just dial it back or off as needed when towing.
In thin air, I wouldn't mess with a larger single. I'd push the stock charger as far as I could, then go straight to twins.

X2 for compounds.
I live at 4,200ish ft and decided a while ago that a larger single just wouldnt do.
Mainly cause all my towing is around town up and down stop and go.
Next for me will be studs and compounds to keep up with the M4's that are gonna be here in a month or so.
