I shut my truck off today at a gas station [Edge was turned off] come back outside, start the truck & turn the comp on before entering the freeway. For some odd reason it was set at level 1x3....which I never use. Come to find out that all sublevels are on 3. I adjust every level sublevels to 5 & go down the road. It is not running like it should...kinda weak, but truck has no miss or other problems of any sort. I shut my truck off at the next stop....same thing happens again....all sublevels are on 3 & main level 1. This happens everytime I shut the truck off. I have no codes! What is going on here? Anyone have a idea? Ever happen to you?

I had a drag comp do some funny stuff like that before, and sent it out to edge they fixed it, but im sure it's just something with the box theve been know to have some bugs in them

I aint seen anything like that.. But on a cold morning start it will not come on, but if i let the truck get warm and turn it off and fire him back up it comes on.

havent had that problem but at least you know what level your on my lights went out. i dont use it as much any more level 5 and i cant stop the black smoke i do love the power out of it. good luck with it.

mine was acting up about a month ago so I sent it back to edge and they fixed it. Took two tries but they finally sent me a new one. Mine would or wouldn't turn on or off so you would have to turn the truck off and then back on again to make it work. After being turned off it would also randomly have 1 bar light up even when it was off and the truck ran terrible. Now it's back to normal..

This is a intermittent problem.....today I put 200 miles on the truck & about 20 duty cycles. The problem only occured sometimes & would run funny....then it just took off. I was pulling a trailer down route 79 coming into PA on the way home from WV & turned the comp on. I was sneak attacked by a 6.0 Powerjoke who pulled up next to me & reved the engine....then took off.... I look down & comp is on kill....must be working! I see a open highway & the Furd thought he had me beat. The drag comp is now working great. He had a 2 length headstart before I even turned the box on. The Comp just decided that it felt like working & I passed him with ease....he gave me a thumbs up with a sad look on his face. I couldn't believe I beat him with a 3000# 24' trailer hooked to my truck....not counting 2 skidsteer attachments & 50 gallons of fuel in the bed. WOW! Atleast the comp didn't let me down when I needed it most. I don't usually do this racing with a trailer on thing, but just couldn't resist the open highway & the look on the Furd drivers face when he pulled up.

Mine does all of these. Had only the cold start -not working until next warmed start- with the regular comp but the drag acts really weird sometimes. I always play with my wires and it usually goes away for a while. I've had so many different boxes on my truck the connections are not so great, but I still can't bring myself to solder them... yet.

At times the leds would not scale up and down, the smoke settings were not remembered by the module, and it seemed like I did not have the power in 4 and 5. Sounds very similar to yours. Is it still under 1 year warranty? Mine indeed did seem to be worse the more times battery voltage was cycled to the module. I think if i remember right I drove over to Edge, they tested it, said it was okay, gave me a new one anyway and everything was better.

Out of 1 year warranty. I've been too busy to call them, but I will let you guys know what they say. The box worked great all day today.

check the simple things ground loose or power loose could cause it to reset back to those settings (maybe)

Well finally a rain day has given me time to call Edge. They have given me a RMA #. Edge tech said to send in harness & all because Edge is gonna send me a new Drag Comp & new harness. That was very impressive.....Edge customer service rocks!

Interesting rumor I heard.....no telling how much truth, if any, there is to it but....I was told that if you can get Edge to put the original drag comp program in it is the best. Something about how the original program would melt an engine led them to come out with a less powerful update.

Like I said, just a rumor.

I had similar problems with my comp, it lost its mind, sent it back to edge, still didn't work when i got it back, did some searching on here and noticed there was a stupid amount of people that have had the same problenm as me (and J Lent) My comp came with my truck so i tossed it and put in a different fueling box and its seems to work well.
