Edge/Attitude / Triple Dog

Right now im running the Edge/attitude, and I found a killer deal on a Triple Dog, can I still run the Triple Dog with the Edge plugged in? Ill set it back to stock, but id like to leave it for the additional guages. I already have boost, egt, trans temp on the pillar, but I like having the 2nd egt guage and trans slip on the Attitude.

Just wondering if there will be an issue between the two. I dont plan on running the two together other than, speedo correction/high idle on the Triple Dog AND the Edge, OR Edge back to stock and Triple Dog on Performance.

Thanks for any help

Wade, Do not stack anything with that "killer deal". You will have major issues.

LOL, nah, wasnt going to stack at all! I just wanted to leave the Edge plugged in for the attitude, if possible. I wont run either of the two(on any performance settings) at the same time.

I was just wondering if the two can exist together on the truck, or if ill have to pull the edge completely out to run the BD.

I think he was talking about the fact that the "killer deal" is the scary larry program on the TD

But aside from that, I doubt ill even run that before I have a transmission on the way.

Anyone try it before?

Again, not stacking both. Just one or the other on anything other than stock, and the other on stock.

it will work fine. Ive done it. DO NOT stack the two, thats for sure.

Not to bust your bubble but the Triple Dog won't correct the speedo for tire size.

Nah, no intention of stacking the two.

Why not? It sure is advertised to, and that would make me a little POd. Im just curious, as thats another reason I bought it, im sick of the later shift points from going to 35s.(mainly the late 3-4 shift, and 45-50 lock up)

Won't do on it on a cummins. Thats a Chevy/Ford feature. Superchips is the same way. The only way to recalibrate the ECM for tire size in the aftermarket is the Smarty.

The triple dog will do speedo calibration only if you are running it in conjunction with the Outlook monitor. Even then it will only display correct speed on the Outlook monitor, not your gauge set.
