looking for an ecm for 2000 dodge ram3500 with cummins turbo auto trans.anyone have a clue where i can get a hold of one without having to take out a second mortgage. any help will be greatly appreciated. Steve

What happened to yours? Possibly try and get Cummins to repair it...far fetched but maybe worth a try.

j, stopped to get a coffee and when i left the lot my truck would not shift into high gear along with not locking auto door locks. trans shop thought i had a wiring short due to spiked amp reading almost 5.0 on what I,m thinking he said was the speed controller sensor. traced all wiring and everything lead back to ecm. had good wiring to ecm. new ecm almost $1000.00. found auto computer exchange in Fl. who rebuilds ecm and guarantees work for a year. cost was a little more than half of new. thanks for answering my post.

Man, I hope you had better luck with the "place in (Jacksonville?) Florida" than I did... I wouldn't recommend that place to anybody. This is an old post, and you didn't follow up so I assume it must have gone o.k.?

Not so well for me, I just filed a complaint with BBB.

i have an 01 which needs a new ecm.having trouble finding the one i need.if this is the first time your having issues withit you should be able to have it reflased at your local dodge dealer.cost ya less than 100 bucks,takes an hour or so.found out when i took mine in it had already been done& only can be once.i believe i saw some for sale on dodge cummins forums classifieds that would fit your truck.from what i'v learn they must be year spacific to match the pcm.hope this helps.
