Efretwell

My truck is going to the dealer tomorrow for a fuel line recall and a new MAP sensor ( I would do it myself but don't have the tools here at school ), there are two other recalls that involve new programming for the ECM one is an ECM and PCM update the other is a ECM and NOX update, I told them no to the ECM updates becuase they sounded bad, just wondering exactly what they do, if they are good I could still get them, anybody know what they do (I asked the *********** but they had no clue)?
