Is it easy to change FCA valve?
As you know i have problems with my truck. dealer said its from edge level 1 being on ALL the time. I have a Fuel rail sensor problem and a fuel control valve issue. my truck idles at 27,000 psi rail pressure. sounds like a hammering old gen 2 dodge. Would edge cause these 2 things? i always drive on level 1? also would the FCA be part of why i have a high egt problem?
Anywyas the rail sensor i can change myself in 2 seconds but what about the FCA valve on the CP3 pump? would you have to remove pump to do it?

How did you get your rail pressure readings?
The Edge should not have caused this problem.
Idleing at 27,000psi sounds like a bad FCA and or Pressures gauge as you have indicated.
But this will mean your injectors will more then likely be on their way out if you drove for any amount of time like this. Idle should be around 5000psi.
Good luck I hope you get your problem fixed.
Cheers

anyways im changing the sensor myself. does the rail sensor have a normal 1/8 PT on it? do you just screw it in or do u use teflon tape on threads. reason i ask is i know about old systems but not sure if teflon tape can stand up to 25,000 psi in the rail? or does sensor come with red paste on threads already?Whats the torque on it snug or about 10 lbs ft.

1. Replace the EFC as follows, if the high pressure fuel pump is discharging the correct
amount of fuel.
a. Remove the cap screws (3).
b. Using a (Clockwise/Counterclockwise) twisting motion, remove the EFC.
c. Using a (Clockwise/Counterclockwise) twisting motion, install the EFC.
d. Install the cap screws (3). Torque the cap screws in two steps. Step 1 - Torque all
cap screws to 3 N·m (27 in. lbs.). Step 2 - Torque all cap screws to 7 N·m (62 in.

e. Start the engine to remove air from the fuel system. >> Go to Step #2.

also what socket needed for FCA removal? t27 or t25 torx? female or male?

No idea on torque specs.
Juice doesn't adjust rail pressure on 04.5-07 trucks. The only thing you should have had hooked to that sensor should have been from the Commander to just read rail pressure. FCA's go bad as well as rail sensors. Just a fact even on stock trucks. Good luck.

thanks. only Quad rail gauge hooked up to rail sensor yes. dealer told me my edge messed everything up. and yes i have Hot unlock setting #6 and that does increase rail pressure.
