Dynoed the truck

Run 1: Banks wire tap on, XZT+ timing/fuel
Run 2: No wire tap, XZT+ timing/fuel
Run 3: XZT+ timing only

XZT+ had the aggressive tune. I'm happy with the numbers.

Discuss.

Also EGTs only hit 1250 and boost 38 on run 1. I wish it were that way on the road!

The graph could have been much prettier with smoothing turned up =p Thats great for what you have in the truck. Max torque by 1800 must be nice for the street

Yeah, I enjoy the early spool and that's why I've swayed from a turbo upgrade thus far. I think twins are the only way I'd be satisfied but I need o-rings and studs first.

I think I might be close to an ideal mild setup as is. I can actually watch the EGTs drop from 1200 to 1100 when the turbo spools, but by then it's rocketing past 35psi on its way to 40+, then the pyro needle direction changes back the other way until I let off the throttle. Maybe if I could play with the wastegate to keep the boost at 38 I could keep the EGTs in check. I'm sure some work with a die grinder on the manifold and turbine housing wouldn't hurt either.

Put a cam and some studs in and you're done. Lower boost, lower egts, and quicker spool. Unless you want to go crazy

Yup! Well done! Nice results for what you have.
Something like a PS62/14 (if not going higher on HP) would spool as fast, run cooler, smooth out the graph and add 30 HP!
I think your still overfueled. JMO.
