What is that Banks box rated at anyway? What gear were you in? How many miles are on that stock tranny? Numbers seem a little low, have you ever done a 1/4 mile? High 17's? Does your truck have enough power to break loose on dry asphalt? I'm not trying to bash you, just wondering where all the power is leaking out... i'm suspecting your drivetrain is not putting it down. How much boost were you making on that dyno run?

I am gonna go out on a limb here and say the Bank$ stuff wasn't on the truck or it wasn't turned on during the dyno run. Those numbers are about right for a stock 24 valve.

Well.......the banks box says its rated @ 70 hp and 180 lb-ft and was on the truck and has no on-off switch that i know of...

I don't know what gear as i wasen't in the truck and its an auto, has a little over 70000 mi...

never been down the 1/4 mile yet....

the guy that ran it said it was higher than stock boost (it'll go up to about 32 psi)....

haven't tried breaking it loose on dry asphalt intentionally yet (it'll bark the tires while turning under hard acceleration)....

so far i'm kinda dissapointed the the banks box on this truck....
(i had the 6-gun on the duramax silverrado i had and it would rocket!!!!)

If its the OttoMind its not very big notice! But I will say you can tell! I would say its not tapped properly or its got a bad ground wire , If it's the big Hoss Box I've seen 4 of those on fleet trucks just "Quit" working, with the answer from banks , this is common, We dont have a solution!

I would account the higher boost to the "Boost Jet" and figure the box isnt working!
