Dyno run on the old first gen.

Went to a dyno event a couple of weeks agos and BBD was nice enough to video a couple of attempts. I kept shutting down just a bit too early and it wouldn't give any numbers. Finally stayed in it long enough on the last try and got an 815 hp run. That's Brad Ponci offering advice, and Stomp with camera in hand to catch any carnage shots.

Pretty good numbers for a nearly stock truck!

Great numbers and the truck sounds awesome! I love how it runs rough when it's idling.....

Brandon's right Ron, maybe if you worked on it a little bit you'd get better numbers! Just kidding!!!!!! Sweet run, and really sharp looking truck too. You Cali' guys are really showing the rest of us how it's done, between you, Stomp, (who's run was also pretty darn sharp ) and the Dow brothers. Double thumbs up from me!

EENNVIOOUUSSSS!!! I'm as green as grass, to be sure. I'd love to have a truck like that.

I love sleepers. I kind of missed that, but now you point that out Dar, just one more reason to be jealous...

I must admit it is nothing special to look at. It was more fun to drive a couple of years ago when it had less power but smaller chargers. If there is room to let it go, it still puts a smile on my face. I have a video coming of a 1/4 mile run it did a while back at Sacramento. I'll see if my son can figure out how to post it here.

1stgenfarmboy says the same thing about his truck... I don't believe him either.

Looking forward to the video RonA! That's a heck of a truck you've got, whether it's in pristine condition or not.

That's the beauty of it though. I like sleepers. They fool the diesel ricers and you are left alone.

Impressive. I believe you were in dieselpower once. I remember an 11 Second P-pumped 1st gen in there.
