Dyno Numbers???

Went to Spokane this last weekend and got 2 runs on the dyno 388/688 and 390/692. Are these low #'s for what i have? I was expecting a little more, are my injectors killing me? I'm hitting 43#s boost. Smarty was on 8 and TST was on 9, engine was at 190, it was early in the morning, i was like 4th on the dyno. Ran the 1/4 the night before, 2 passengers, tool box... 16.00@88 had 4 runs all right there?? I still have high egt's when i'm running any hill in 5th gear, 1250 and up,,, towing my 30' 5th wheel i'll see 1400-1500 on small hills!! whats goin on here? thanks for any info....

Seems like it's a lil low, might have done a lil better with Smarty9/TST6, but i would think with that setup you should have around 420ish

The timing of the odd smarty levels will produce more power. 4th should be direct drive so that'd be the right gear for a load dyno, but if it was a dynojet you are supposed to use OD.

Are you seeing a lot of smoke when your egts are soaring or does the smoke clean up?

Smoke cleans up, it only smokes at the bottom rpm range, once the turbo spools it cleans right up, this is what a couple of ppl mentioned at the dyno, so is that to small a stick for this setup? I was told to look into some Mach 1.6's, anyone have these? Any info would be great... Thanks

I would think your setup with some M 4's would be awsome, and just tow with the sticks

Those are low to me as well IMO. I have drag comp on 3x3 smarty on 8 220 sticks, good air, plugged gate with some other homemade mods for air stock charger dd clutch 4" exhaust 4th gear pull and last dyno was 521hp 1380tq so Is your pump throwing a 0216 code or any at all?

I'm running the same set up as you, except I have the 1.6 Machs. Recently put down 451 Hp on dyno run so you seem a little low to me too. I also ran mach 4's for awhile and the truck ran really great, but towing even with just the sticks was just too hot so I downsized. I have an auto though, so you could control the pyro better that me IMO.

Who knows? I was going to order the Mach 1.6's,,, BUT just found out this week i've been recalled to Iraq (I'm Navy Reserves) so thats kinda changed things around here...grrr i leave next month, so i'll be on here for awhile.. thanks for the info...

your EGT's are high and power is low because you have nothing modifying the timing. get the smarty on an odd level (LIKE 9) and then see how much of a difference it makes.

I've got the edge EZ on it, thought that took care of timing?

Yea he's from the Seattle area, changed out the CP3 right there in the field that morning then went and pillaged some boxes to put on it, TST, Edge i think.. all kinds of stuff.. he pulled 687 and flatlined the trq at 1200+.. pretty wicked!! There was a race (street legal) ram there that dyno'd 813!! 12 valver!!
