OMG, is that why the plexi glass is there? At least they planned for that to happen.

The smoke from under the head was the cue to abort the dyno run...

$10 GRAND would be on the cheap side. that had a fabbed intake and if they wanted to go to that expense doing that they spent more than 10g's.

i agree, they should have lifted at the 14 second mark when the thing started to bow up just before the kaboom. i don't think it was a planned thing but who knows.

good video though. would be sweet to see the numbers (egt's, coolant temp, boost etc.... during the entire run. dyno sheet would be sweet to look at. would be a sudden cliff drop when she went

I guess thats one way to look at the pistons to see the spray pattern. Personally, I'd have just pulled the injectors, but to each their own...

Yea, that was 1 expensive engine. Some nice looking parts on it, i'd say at least 30k into that motor. It would be nice to know what let go.
