Duramax forum suggestions please . . ..
Hey folks,
For work (Refrigeration service & repair), I drive a 2005 Silverado 3500 4x4 chassis work truck with the typical Knapheide tool box/bed with ladder racks.
It's got the Duramax 6.6ltr Diesel with the Allison 5sp automatic and locking differential. A bit overkill for what I do but that's what the boss handed me. It is a VERY nice truck!
I'm gonna get run over pulling out in traffic thinking it's gonna go like my old 1st gen. Don't get me wrong, in its stock trim, it'll flat haul hiney considering all the weight I'm hauling. I just want it to get moving a bit sooner.
I'm hoping there's a few simple mods that can be done to get it moving a little quicker.
Can you good folks point me to a Duramax forum that's on up there as this forum in terms of helpful people and quality information?
Thanks,
David (BC)
