dum question for the day
got my new mbrp muffler today.
which way does it go on.
there are louvers on the inside of it, im thinkin the open part of the louvers go towards the turbo
besides that , it dont seem long enough, it measures 30inch but my stock is way longer.

X3 for the louvers.
Did you get the extra pipe with it to replace the stocker??????
If you only got the muffler then you are going to have to get another piece to fit it together.
Yes you are right the muffler itself is to short to replace the OEM.

You can always run the pipe out in front of the wheel instead of behind it. That's what I did and it is very nice. Sounds better, eliminates five feet of pipe, no interference with the spare, stops the black bumper problem and makes room for an air tank.
To do it I moved my MBRP muffler about 3 feet forward, then pieced the tail pipe together with 2 pieces. One turns slightly down and out toward the side and the next turns back to level and on out. Slip on the tip attach the hangars and you're done. Well worth it!
There is a small turn up in the frame near the spring mount. That's the place to turn out. It looks really cool coming out the side like that and the sound is music.

Putting the "ends up" toward the turbo will chang the sound as well, will gve you more "flutter". My friend did i, as were just curious if therewould be sounds difference. Also, I am not arguing the fact that it hurts flow (maybe it does, maybe it doesn't) but there was no "seat of the pants" difference for sure.
