Dually Tire Question/Reccomendations...
Ok so while I was at the dyno day yesterday I was looking at my truck and compared to the other duallies it seemed to have pretty small tires. And that's what I've been thinking since I got the truck.
So here are the numbers on the tires:
LT225/75R16, D-Range
So that means they are for a light truck, 225MM in width, with a 75% aspect ratio, and made for 16" rims correct?
The numbers on the sticker on the door said:
LT215/85R16-D
So that means that the tires that are reccomended by Chrysler are are little bit skinnier, yet a little bit taller than the ones I have on now?
So the tires still have a bit of life in them, but I'm just curious as to what would be a good next tire. The dually has 3.54 gears, and I wouldn't want to be running something like 35s anyway.
So what would you all reccomend? Its 2WD so I don't need anything with very aggressive tread, and I don't want anything super soft because I want to get a good life out of them. But I would like the tires to look a little bit better in proportion to the truck since these are a little small. Thanks!

Ditto on the 235/85's. I was scared to switch to a wider tire because I pull heavy with my dually but the 235's still have lots of room between the duals even when loaded heavy.
