Dually Folk Help!

Dually Folk Help!

I put 265/75-16's out back and at the top I got a little space (Piece of paper mabey) but at the bottom they touch this is on a puller so not many miles a year any help is this ok?

if its just a puller u should be fine, but its not the best situation. There just gonna rub together alot especially with the load of pulling, and cause premature wear on them. You could run some spacers, but again not ideal at all for pulling or towing much. Newer dodges have more backspacing on the rims so maybe u could run some of those without spacers, u can usually find a set of stock wheels for like 120 bucks. I think 99+ have more backspacing, maybe 00+ not sure. But you for sure dont want a blowout while ur on the freeway, even though u have 4 tires in the back for stability its just not good to have them rub

If you do any commercial hauling the DOT boys will put you out of service if the tires rub together. Tires can not rub at all,,,, either smaller tires or different rims or spacers will be required. Tires rubbing will cause heat and blowout the sidewalls.

Not safe. OutlawStorm is right, rubbing together is a big no no OOS ticket.

my 99 has the same back spacing as my 95. I beleave that it's the 01's that have alittle more, but not enought for an 1".
