Dually body

.Question. Is the only difference between the dually 3500 body and the single 2500 the welded on flare sides. It can't be that easy, can it? Around a "95" vintage. Thnx steve

The flares are actually just bolted on. They're fiberglass. Also, where the filler neck goes through steel box, the hole is probably 10"x10". Going from SRW to a DRW should be fairly simple, but going the other way, you'll have a huge hole where the fuel filler goes, and lots of little ones from the bolts in the flares. Duallies also have the marker lights on the tailgate, as well as the flares.

There must be a 'secondary' mud guard or extension?

Dually's also have side, top, and rear marker lights. The fenders are just bolted on and are plastic. You will need a dually filler neck, not to mention wheels, axles, drivelines, and springs. The factory fenders are ~$450.00 a piece un-painted. I'm not sure if the 350 frame is heavier ??

Not positive on the dodges, but pretty sure the ford beds have a square wheelwell on the bed for the dually for room so the tire doesn't hit the bed. I always assumed the dodge was the same. Never really looked at it though

It's the same bed than single rear wheel ones, but it has a lot more holes than SRW one .

That's mine a day after when I drove it out of the container floor to her new homeland.

Fenders and wheels were removed because containers are 238cm(93") wide inside.

Maybe some guy with good welding skills could mod it back to srw but I like dually more thank you.
