DTR's August 2003 Truck Of the Month
The www.DieselTruckResource.com Truck Of the Month committee
(Joel Dieseldude4X4, Dennis RATTLINRAM, and Ed Shovelhead)
is proud to announce our August winner.
Keith Livingstone AKA Rammin On
Keith is not just a member but an invaluable source of info, and a top notch wrench to boot!
One thing we have learned from Keith is that it's usless to wash your truck before attending a Meet&Eat when we caravan (CaraRAM?) to the eatery.
No matter what color your truck starts out, they ALL end up a sooty grey/black 8)....... (We GOTTA start puttin' some of those "fortified" guys in the rear. LOL)
And now a few words from our winner:
Ahhhh, Thankyoo.....thankyooverrrymuch.......woah! Who let Elvis back in the building?
Heeeere's Keith,..............
Thanks!! What an honor!!!!! Can you see me smiling!! Here's the scoop on my truck:
1995 2500 4X4 3.54 LSD ATS Stage 4 trans and tripleloc convertor, Custom tuned P7100 Scheid pump, 370 marine injectors, PDR-HX-40 mounted on a ported ATS manifold into JRE 4" straight pipe fed by Scotty II air ( yes I cut the hole!! ) modified banjo's, systems monitored by ISSPRO pyro, boost and EV trans temp. LineX in the box, Smittybilt nerf bars, Weld super single wheels spinning BFG 265/75R-16 AT/KO tires. Traffic monitors include galaxy DX99V into a 600 watt linear, Bearcat scanner and Valentine One. Pioneer CD system powered by a 250 watt amp (which I don't use much cause I'm always listening to the big bad Cummins hiding under the hood). 192,000 miles over 150,000 miles bombed. Best dyno to date 474 HP @ 1106 TQ
Geesh ... took me a while to rememeber everything I have on the truck .. and I'd bet I missed a bunch!!
Thanks so much for the honor!!!
On a good note ... construction FINALLY began on the shop yesterday!!! Yee haw!!! culvert is in ... driveway cut ... footers should be poured tommorrow ... we're off and running!!! But ... I STILL have this house to finish!!!! It's killing me!!!
If you need any additional info .. holler!!!
Keith
Send Keith a PM here for more info.

We's like to take this time to remind you that we pick the Truck Of the Month from our own Member's Photos section.
So make our job harder, and post those truck pics.
(maybe then we can ask for a raise)
It doesn't have to be super performance or highly modified truck, just clean and well photographed.
This also applies to our newest members, the Ford and Chevy folks.

Keith,
Sweet truck with a lot of nice goodies! The picture is awesome!!!! Lots of smoke! I see you’ve got West Nile well under control for the neighborhood. Congratulations well deserved!
Side question: What are your likes and/or dislikes about the Valentine One? I’ve thought about ponying up for one since my BEL contracted the Microsoft reboot disease :'(.

Keith,
Congratulations!
That's a beautiful truck! Looks a lot like mine on the outside, but NOTHING like it under the hood (bummer for me!!!)
That's some impressive smoke, too!

Re:DTR's August 2003 Truck Of the Month
Thanks for all the great comments!!! Tis quite an honor to be selected for this ~ and I know there are plenty of trucks out there that out shine mine ...
Snowman - I don't have any dislikes with the Valentine One ... I bought this after John_P and I made a trip out to Missouri last winter ... was great to see it in operation before I aquired mine. This thing has paid for itself ten fold in the past 6 mos I've had it ..

Verrrry nice Keith! Last time I had to endure smoke like that was when I had to stage in the right hand lane at MIR next to **ICEMAN**.
Hope everything is going well in MO.

We still miss ya man,,,,,,, :'( :
I learned the hard way,,,,, the very first time I met Keith,,,,,,,,, NOT to be on the same side of his truck that the exhaust comes out. I also learned the hard way,,,,,,,, NOT to have your windows rolled down when trying to follow him in city traffic!
Hope all is well and let me know when you have the RV sites finished,,,,,,,,, I'll take one with full hook-ups and shade trees on both sides, please. ;D

CONGRATS!
I've seen smoke like that before,, but, it was from an old Minivan,, Don't know what happened, but it was engulfed in flames.
Why would you want your truck to smoke like that anyway ?? ;D ;D ;D ;D
