From the talk most of the truck pullers will be some where that evening. What about getting together at Bass Pro around 12noon Sat then if some of us wanted go to Marshfield for the pull that evening your close enough.

I'd kinda like to come to a GTG or Sled pull if ya'll don't mind me tagging along. I will be in the Springfield area visiting family later this week and weekend.

N. Texas DTR #8 is a pretty active group, I just like to get out and meet other guys on DTR whenever the opportunity arises. And Sled Pulling is not very big here in Texas for some reason.[duhhh]

I actually met up with your group in March of last year up in Nevada, MO at a Mexican restaurant there....with ChrisReyn, MColeman and some others. But the howling wind blowing and under 30 degrees temps kinda wore on all of us after a while... I don't think that will be an issue this go round...[coffee]

Are yall planning to meet for dinner somewhere prior to the pulls?

Hey Mike. Yeah it was great meeting yall. We just couldn't stand outside for long....I bet that wind was blowing at 30mph plus.

My sister and B-n-L said they have been swamped with rain. We could really use some down here.

If you gotta cut hay I understand....time is short.....but I'd like to meet up again sometime.

Sat noon at BP South parking lot behind the catalog outlet. Bring your lunch or eat it before hand? If you really want to we can eat there. I wonder if they would mind a little cook out there?

so you're planning a get together and you're not eve gonna be there??? that's kinda awkward. i'm not sure about the pull. it's supposed to be at the equine center not at the normal track. if i get my pile of monkey crap workin properly i'll be at the pull.

the pull at wheatland is at the lucas oil speedway that is the big boys over there i think i might go to that.

it's big trucks. like peterbilt, kenworth, and stuff like that. i will be there. now, is the marshfield pull this friday or not??

With all the rain last night and today what pulls will be going on?

Well sorry things didn't work out to meet up at BP and Marshfield. I am assuming everything was cancelled due to the weather. There were a bunch of high winds/storms starting about 3am where I was at...until about 3pm or so Saturday.

We had decided to try to go to the Lucas Oil Pulling Event up in Wheatland, MO but it got cancelled Saturday night. I went ahead and stayed Sunday and we went then. Very fun event but they HAD NO DIESEL PICKUP TRUCKS!![dummy] Diesel tractors yes. Diesel Semi trucks yes. Everything else was alcohol. Very dissappointing to not see any Diesel Pickup trucks. I wish I could have made it a couple of weeks before and just went to Stotts City or somewhere else in SW Missouri. Oh well. Maybe next time.:cool:
