I've installed the DSS and regardless of what I tried, couldn't get the nut centered in the frame hole. Putting on the bearing, the bolt holes were off by about 3/8 of an inch towards the passenger side.
Anybody else have this problem and what did you do to correct it?

Try loosening the bolts to the frame as much as possible w/o the bearing, don't freak out about where the nut extention sits in the whole. Nice and loose-sloppy. Then bolt up the bearing over the nut extention loosely too. Start snugging down the bolts to the frame first and see if things align. I know what you're talking about and thought I would never get it installed. AND my install included a front reciever hitch. Longer bolts were needed but I got it all installed ovr a couple years now. The bearing is self centering and I just watch how the grease purges around the bearing to verify it's centered. Love my DSS.

Make sure your wheels are straight and you parked on flat ground when doing the install. Your frame could be a little bent causing the holes not to line up. I had a similar problem when I installed mine but I realized it was because I was parked in our downward driveway kind of sideways and had my wheels turned to the right. But I called PSC first and the guy told me he's seen a few trucks with a little bent frame since these engines are so heavy and it's hard on the steering box. Overall, just try to get it on. If it's off by a little bit maybe you can still tighten it down.
