Could someone point me in the right direction for the best prices on a DSS Stabilizer and a set of Timbrens for the rear of a 05 3500 SRW? We have bought a larger 5th wheel and I want a little added support in the rear and a DSS. Also is the DR3500CA part number correct for the rear on my truck? Will they bolt right up or will I need any spacers? Thanks

I got a PSC brace for the steering. It's a lot more affordable, and does that same thing. I also have Timbrens, and got them from truckspring.com, or 4x4parts, or offroad something or other. I'll see if I can find it. I paid about $150 for them a couple of years ago.

I did not use the spacer on my 2500, so there's about an 1.5 inch gap and the ride unloaded is unchanged. I have the 6000 lb Timbrens, but you can call them and ask about your application.

Timbrens take about 15 minutes to install - don't forget to use anti-seize on every metal to metal mating surface and the bolts. Preservation is a good thing.

My truck sits level with A LOT of weight in the bed if I load it down.

The DR2500CA kit (6,000lb springs) should be adequate for your application unless you are running loaded full time. My timbrens are installed without the spacer and do not effect my unloaded ride.

Thanks guys. When I go to the web site BMH95 gave me and put in my truck info it says I need part number DR3500CA which are just over $200. If the part number DR2500CA will work on my truck I will order them as they are $180. The new trailer has a pin weight that is 400 lbs. more than our old one so I doubt I need the one that are $200.

My DR2500CA kit was $169 shipped from 4vehicleaccessories.com.

I suggest you go with the 2500 kit unless you're putting several thousand pounds over the rear axle.
