Driving Light Lenses
Just wondering if anybody knows where I might buy stock lenses for my (lower) driving lights other than from the dealer. Also, how to take them off to replace them (if possible) Mine are getting fogged over. Thanks!

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!
Well I tell ya I got mine off of ebay a little over a year ago and one is already fogged inside. they were about 60% of what the dealer price was, but now I have to get a new one sooooooo..... Lesson learned.
One thing you should do, if you can swing it.
As you know the stock single bulb lighting on our trucks is horrible!!! so you should get the sport replacement headlamps (two bulbs on each side) and go here and get a RIK_RAM kit. You will need some additional 12 ga wiring, and some wire looms, but this will give you a relay kit, and all the parts and pieces to get hi/low beams on your truck. The cool thing is that you headlights will be powered directly off of your battery or alternator so you will have much brighter lights.
Daniel sterns website is VERY informative, he is a very cool guy to. He may be a little difficult to get a hold of as he has had some health issues, but his kit is top notch!!! very good, solid components.
I have diagrams for wiring somewhere, I actually got them from a member on here, but they are archived so I will see if I can dig them up if you decide to go with the upgrade. just let me now if you need them.

Good advice - but thats not what hes asking for - looks to me like he wants to know where to get replacement fog lights.
www.lmctruck.com carries the fog lights. If you are concerned about leakage, or fogging, run a bead of clear silicone around them (the flowable kind).

If they're fogged over, try using "off" bug spray on them. A friend told me this makes them "like new" again though I have not tried it. Mine are ok for the most part so let me know if it helps.

Thats a good point. There are a number of really good plastic polishes on the market. Might be worth a shot.
Ive used this stuff and its excellent:

I used the kit made by Permatex for cleaning/polishing headlight lenses on my foglights.
It comes with 4 grades of sandpaper, polish and clear instructions.

My lights look like new now.
I have a SPORT edition Ram so my lights might be installed differently than yours. But there was only one screw holding the light in and it was accessed from underneath.

long time ago I was told to try tooth paste not gel it seemed to work descent did it on a couple of yellowed and glazed lights on my mothers car. was pretty good but the following month she hit a deer. so she got new ones. you can try any type of rubbing compound it wont hurt if you have that in your garage.

My girlfriend had tree sap on her headlight - she ended up scratching it pretty bad. I tried that stuff and it fixed it - didnt even have to pull out the drill to buff it.
