driveline vibration

I have an 04 3500 drw. I was in a bit of a fender bender where I totaled out a car(hyundai elantra) when he hit my driver corner of my truck. I just got it back from the paint shop and now I notice a vibration about 30-40mph. I changed out the driveshaft carrier bearing with a spicer HD version and that helped a bit. I never had this issue before the accident. The accident just damaged my bumper and didnt touch the frame at all, I barely felt the hit. when I accelerate it vibrates, when I let go of the gas it smooths out. Even on the highway i'll throw it in neutral and it is smooth, I give it some gas and you feel the vibration. I had the driveshaft checked out when the carrier bearing was replaced and it was good. Could the trans have an issue? How would the trans cause the vibration. Like mentioned, I was stopped in my tracks but I was moving about 10mph and the other vehicle about 25-30. My insurance wants proof that the trans has an issue, but it has to be proven. They want it apart with proof but if they just decline i'll be stuck with the build. Truck is very well maintained with amsoil fluids and has 167,000 miles on it. It is my daily and never have loaded it up or pulled anything heavy.
Thanks for any comments

If you give it gas while in gear, it could be almost anything.

If it's still in neutral, then it's between the tail shaft and the harmonic balancer.

If you took a hit to the front, I'd be looking more towards the front of the drive train - balancer, pulleys, brackets, etc. Be sure and check motor and trans mounts.

If you got hit in the rear, I'd be looking at the rear of the trans. Pull the drive shaft out, and take a very close look at the trans tail shaft. Look for witness marks where the drive shaft was jammed up in there. Try and wiggle the end of the tailshaft and see if there's any play.

Of course, it could be just coincidence, and have nothing to do with the accident.

It is a 2 wheel drive. I was hit in the front corner driverside. The hit only did damage to the bumper and didnt touch the frame or engine. I went and checked the mounts and stuff just in case though. I tried it in neutral and it was smooth, once I put it in drive it vibrates. Feels like when you run over those little bumps on the road that are in between lanes.

I was crossing the lanes and we met up in the center, I was able to drive the truck home and park it. I didnt notice the vibration till I took it to the body shop. I called the insurance to tell them maybe the tranny had an issue but it does have to be proven. also it stays in gear (1st) then it takes a bit and then shifts when it feels like it. I dont want to get stuck with the build if I take it to the trans shop since it did start that right after the accident. If not I have to get it fixed regardless.
