Driveline slop ????

Does anyone know where all the driveline slop might be ??? Thought it might be in the rear end and lifted it up but not there. So must be in the trans mission (5 spd) and transfer case.

Try the slip joint behind the hanger bearing, that is where all the slop is in mine. there is backlash from the diff wearing, which I consider well within normal range, the trans will have some as well, so will the case, but the biggest culprit over time, no matter what brand of truck, is that slip joint. Gotta love two piece driveshafts.
