Question Drips from Crankcase Vent Tube

Just did a search and didn't see anything current (i.e. within past 6 months) so --
wondering if anyone else (besides me) is experiencing drips of oil from crankcase vent tube. Dealer said that drip is coming from vent tube, no catch bottle since new 600s hit street, etc. If so any fix, if not, do you you have drip (catch) bottle.

All help appreciated and happy holidays to all.

Guess I should add that the searches I did only returned results for 12 and 24v; nothing 3rd gen.

Sorry 'bout that - still learning to use these things. Should now have something at the bottom but - in case I didn't add sig correctly -- I have an 04.5 RAM 3500 5.9L 600 engine, 4X4 auto, no mods, and about 50 little black dots on my recently repoured driveway right about where my front wheels/axle end up nightly

Yes mine does it too sometimes. You can easily improvise a drip bottle by drilling a hole thru the drip tube end and aattaching bottle with a plastic tie back strap. I did that with my 95 diesel.

I've got the occasional drip and so do all of the trucks that I run with. Mine hit's the front axle and has been giving it a very nice "anti-rust" coating. We've rigged up a couple of the trucks with catch bottles to keep the wives calmed down about the spots. They only need to be cleaned or changed every few months. Just make sure you use a bottle with a large neck so as not to restrict the flow of crankcase gasses.
