You need one, or just want one? I think you just buy them from Desert Racing Concepts themselves.

DRC had a shop in San Diego do their trusses, at least Greg Boardman did, as well as Kroeker. I got their shops name through Boardman and went down to meet the owner quite awhile back. The shop is called Differential Systems and owned by Jason Hughes. (619) 298-3568. Hope this helps.

You do need one, I bent my front axle housing on the first trip to the Silver lake Sand dunes in Michigan. The dealer had a hard tme figuring out why the front spiders gears kept getting torn up. I got a call from them asking if I was ever jumping my truck. I just told them "I didn't do anything that my top of the line 45k truck shouldn't handle". They replaced it under warranty. I found out from DRC that the front diff is a known weak point for serious off roading. I thought they Quouted me around $800 for laser cut steel parts that you weld onto your axle tubes and center section. Have fun, Ten feet in the air sounds cool.

Wow. $800 sounds pretty darn salty for that. It looks like you could get a piece of 2" x 6" x .250" thick mild steel (or even .125") and spend a few hours with some cardboard templates and some saw's/ grinders/ and a welder and there you have it. Even if you spend the money for the nice lazer cut parts I am sure it will need some "final fit grinding" done anyway. I am a pretty handy guy with all those tools though. But anyone with some safety glasses and a few hours could make that. If your not a welder find someone that is. And do little bits at a time as to not warp the axle from heat.
