Drawstraw or modified Liberty canister ?

I think my lift pump(on side of block) is going out again. I have an AirDog 150 that I am going to try to install. Will the modified Liberty canister that Vulcan sells fit on a 2001 ? If so should I use the Liberty Canister or get a Drawstraw 1 and modify my canister ? I want to avoid the low fuel problem.
Thanks for any help.

My cannister needed to be replaced and the stock one was too many $$. So I used a modified liberty cannister (the one that came installed with a draw straw ) on my 01.5 and it fit right in no problems. It is nice that it drops right in and has the upgraded fittings. While you can do it yourself (install the draw straw) for cheaper in the existing cannister there is something to be said for a simple drop in replacement.
