Hey guys i am looking into getting a new fuel pickup tube or (Draw Straw) for my 01 dodge and i think i have narrowed it down between the vulcan draw straw I, of the airdog fuel pickup system. I have an airdog pump on the truck already. Any input?

Dont think you will here much negative on the draw straw with the exception of the 1/4 tank issue which can be resolved with good install technique.

However with an 01 your float (some have had issue with them deteriorating and disolving, while mine was still decent it was starting too) and fuel sender (a pretty common problem) may be getting on in years and miles. Might be worth looking at Vulcans Jeep Liberty Module with the Draw Straw V installed. That way you get the draw straw already installed, wont have to worry about the quarter tank issue as the draw straw is installed in the module itself as well as a new float and fuel sending unit. It also comes with an additional port for fuel return which is handy if you are using/planning a fuel pump that requires a return such as the fass or airdog. It is a complete drop in unit.
