Dr. Performance - Customer Service
So I have been chasing an intermittent fueling problem on my truck for the past few months; you may have read about it in previous threads.
I was having problems with the truck de-fueling and throttle-lag every now and then, just enough to be irritating. While trying to solve this problem I changed the lift-pump, fuel control actuator on the CP3 and the APPS sensor, all with no effect.
For the past 5 years I've been running a Dr. Performance Predator Stage III fueling module under the hood, I'd almost forgotten about it and after removing it my fueling problem went away (although the truck is not as much fun to drive and gets poorer fuel mileage now )
I contacted technical support at Dr. Performance and Whitney gave me a return authorization number. I just heard back from her and while testing the module she discovered some intermittent terminal contact issues related to heat and vibration.
Long story short, she is sending me a replacement unit, one of their new-style upgraded modules for a very nominal cost to me, despite my box being 5 years old and despite the problems being entirely related to natural wear and tear.
Dr. Performance gets my coveted 2-thumbs up seal of approval for customer support. Whitney was a pleasure to deal with and I will purchase their products with confidence in the future.

Are they sending you new injectors too. That pressure box will probably fry them. I am amazed that you've had it for 5 yrs and no trouble. The Jr adds plenty of power for me.

A friend of mine had one on his '05 and his only lasted 100,000 kms. The stage III is the one of the most aggressive pressure boxes out there. You will get better milage but not enough to offset a $3000 set of injectors. He got lucky and the dealer replaced them. He then got rid of it and his Juice with att and got the Jr and some gauges and couldn't be happier. Is your truck an early '04 305 hp model. or a '04.5 325hp. If you have an early one get the He351 and you will love it.
