Downshifting Issue Coming to a stop
A co-worker of mine just bought a 1998 2500 4x4 AT 12 valve. It has 78,000 miles on it, and when he comes down to a stop sign, he says it seems like the torque converter stays locked up right about until he is stopped and then there is a surge and a jerk and it unlocks and idles normally.
I searched the forums and didn't find anything on this. Anyone have any ideas? TP sensor? TV cable?? Brake light switch???
Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

check this thread out, he seems to be having a similar problem with it staying locked up when you come to a stop(idle), and theres a link someone posted in there to read.
