Door Panel Removal

I need to replace my door speakers (passenger side if that makes any differnece). Would appreciate any suggestions before I pop-off something I'm going to regret?

Not too hard. 3 screws, two in the door pull handle and one on by the mirror, the rest are clips. It would be best to get a clip pulling tool like this:

If you don't you may break the doghouse's for the clips. Either way you will probably mangle the clips, do yourself a favor and buy some replacements here:

Just buy a bunch so if/when you do the door you have them available. I think the door has around 15 so at least that many. Clips are around the periphery of the door.

Other than that just be patient and careful. The wire harness for the door controls pops out of the panel, then just fish it back through the panel to free the panel completely (you'll see what I mean).

Most autoparts stores carry replacement clips.
I use a Wonder bar type nail puller to pop them off.

dUH--Great idea for the "wonder bar"--have got a couple of them!

Will pick up some "clips"--can I get them at autozone?

Usually yes, but you'll pay $3 for 2 clips and when I went through this, each autozone I went to had maybe 1 or 2 packages of the clips, so to do an entire door you'd need to go to 6 parts store and spend $20.

Hence I just decided to order the ones online and get them delivered to my door.

Just my experience. Your luck may be better
