door bushings/swaybar
where can i get the replacement door bushings. I also need to get some swaybar bushings. Do they make them in ployurithene or is therir any advantage to them?

Goodluck finding door bushing i forget exactly how that went either you cant get the pins or the bushings one is not availible. The dealership told me you had to order whole new hinges at like 50$ or so for the bottom and 70$ or so for the top might be vise versa cant remember exactly.

I bought a set of door bushings off of ebay from a guy named pussow. He put together a kit of hardened pins, bronze bushings, and instructions on how to go about modify your doors. The kit worked great, I put them on my '96. It was about $35-40, if I remember correctly - much cheaper than new hinges!!

I think I read on this site about using GM bushings and pins. Who ever talked about said they used the ones you can get at like Autozone. They are the "Help" brand of parts you always see on the rack.
He did have to drill to install the new ones, but it seemed to work well for him.
