door and Tailgate covers

Hey guys has anyone put the chrome door handle covers on your truck and if so how do they look? Would you do it again?

Don't have them on mine, however I do like them. As long as the tailgate is done also of course. I have seen an issue with some of the door ones though. The hole for your key sometimes has to be opened a little for the larger keys of the '06 and newer trucks.

I have them on mine, along with the chrome trim. I think they look great. Makes me wonder why I never had them on my other trucks.

I have the putco covers and are very happy with them. The secret is take your time and make sure that the surfaces are very clean before you install, and being that it is winter, I suggest thet you have a heat gun / hair dryer to warm the surfaces as well. The Key hole (drivers door) is a little small for the acre size factory key fob, but it will work if you just push a little. I love the look.

Mr Bee what do you mean winter???: I will be 75 here tomorrow
That is a little chilly but I don't think a heat gun is needed!!!

Another patron of PUTCO products; chrome door handles, tailgate handle, and ventvisors.

I also have the Putco covers on mine and after two years they are looking great.
As for if I would put them on again, yes I would.

Well I put the door and tailgate covers on today and they look great!
I did go with the chrome plated stainless steel instead of the chrome plated plastic ones. I have not had a hole lot of good luck with the plastic on my bike so I spent a few extra dollars (about twice) and went stainless!!!!!!
