Donaldson Mufflers but which one?

Ok looking for a 4" exahaust muffler that will quiet things almost to stock. My truck makes too much noise while pulling or running hard on highway roads. I can't talk on the cell phone unless its embedded in my ear.

I'm looking for part numbers if anyone know. I spoke to Donaldson and man they really can't steer me either way.

I'd like a muffler thats no more than 60" long, can be offset at inlet and exit abit, can't be more than 12" and must be 4" inside both in and out.

Now most important, I've tried other muffler that are straight thru design that I had from previous take offs (2 30" plus SS and 1 Pro Flow) both are loud as hell while under load.
I'm about to buy a stock muffler from a 3rd generation and use that.

Can someone help with part numbers so I can buy the right one. I want real quite and not kill my flow too much.

Most important not straight flow design. I don't waant to be able to see thru it if I look in at one end of it!!!!

Here's the link to Donaldson's muffler catalog:

For a 4 inch inlet/oulet muffler an M090594 muffler would do the trick.

Do you think that will do it? I dont want a muffler that flows straight thru. I want one with some baffles that can keep things quiet especially in towing RPMs and constant drone speeds.

I am using an AP3891 TruckEx muffler, which is the same cross to the Donaldson and Nelson 51" overall length 9" muffler, 4" in and out. It has a baffle cone in one end that can be pushed open if you wanted, but I left mine closed. The muffler is not offset at all, but bolted in perfectly in the space vacated by my stock resonator and muffler. With an aftermarket 4" tailpipe, and the stock 3" down pipe/head pipe, I am as quiet as stock with a better tone. Any difference in sound level over stock is heard from outside, or while next to a building or bridge wall with the Passenger window down. I love it. It was $60 or so from Mutual Wheel. They have a website if you want. The box had the TruckEx logo, but the muffler can has Nelson M8613 stamped on it. The muffler people normally order from Nelson for this application is M86131. Some say these are too quiet, but I always preferred stealth performance anyway. Even with the baffle cone, the muffler is much higher flowing than the stock muffler, by a long ways. When I go to a 4" downpipe/headpipe, it may get a touch louder, but I have heard several that just get a deeper, more Semi like tone without the noise.

The Donaldson M090594 muffler does have a cone baffle in it. You will not have any drone, but I don't think it will be as quiet as stock. If you go to the cross reference search on Donaldson's website and type in Nelson part # 86131M, M090594 comes up as the Donaldson cross reference part #. If you use a Donaldson muffler with offset inlet and oulet it would probably be quieter.
