Does smarty help on 1/4mi times

Just wondering if I will see faster times in the quarter or if it all seat of the pants feel and low end driviblity. I'm on the fence to buy or not. Trying to beat my friend that has a 7.3 auto, It's close right now but he pulls away during shifts. Thanks

i dont have one personally, i plan on ordering one, but they say that it as much better low end. which better low end would = better off the line times which would = better 1/4 mile times. so go for it!

i see you have an ez, you'll have to run it on an even numbered setting for it not to put on its own timing

Thanks, I plan on selling the EZ unless there is an advantage to running the smarty of fuel and the ez for timing. Is there an advantage or will the smarty give me max timeing and fuel on SW9? Also I need some more top end power will the smarty help there at all?

Thanks,
Matt

Ditch the EZ if you are going with the Smarty. The Smarty's timing is better than that of the EZ.

get a tst pm3 for the top end. the smarty does little up there. The tst will give you a lot of fuel w/o timing and you can use the smarty on sw9 to get its fuel & timing.

What helps on 1/4 times is watching your lights and getting a good start. If you get the smarty don't floor it off the line, go about 1/2 pedal and roll into it from there.

I ditched (sold) my EZ for a Smarty... never looked back! It helps everywhere.
You need to practice on the street before the track, to find the best setting for YOUR fueling, so you get best launch. FUll throttle on the Smarty can load too much fuel too early, if not careful.
Nice problem to have, huh?

Smarty won't help top end... (nor does your EZ) but it will get you off the line better.
