What does the sensor on air filter do ?
What is the sensor (I assume it's air temp) on the air filter box ? I replaced box with a BHAF filter and don't know what to do with it. Unplug it, leave it hanging loose in the engine area, or drill a hole in air filter body and install it there ?

Ok, I found out what it is exactly
OPERATION
The Inlet Air Temperature/Pressure Sensor is a combination dual-function sensor. The sensor element extends into
the intake air stream at the top of the air filter housing. Ambient air temperature as well as barometric pressure is
monitored by this sensor. The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors signals from this sensor.
I guess I have to reinstall it....

Air Temperature sensor
You should be able to cut out the plastic on the old tube and use the hose to mount to your piping on the BHAF, that is what I did. I also silconed around the sensor base that I screwed to the pipe.
Sorry I am not at home, otherwise I would send you a picture.
