Wanted to know what the liter per minute "LPM" was for the flux 3 and flux 4 injectors.

I am wondering what amount of fuel they flow using the LPM.

I only imagine that the flux 3 is around 28 LPM or so.

There are many misconceptions on flow rates and plain junk science on how injectors are flow tested to arrive at a HP level. One cant compare an air pressure flow rate in LPM between a stock extrude honed nozzle and a Flux.

Some flux nozzles will actually read a lower flow rate than stock on that equipment, but make much more HP.

Flow rates obtained with 50 PSI of static air pressure is not the same as a Dynamic system under 20,000 PSI of liquid. I suppose one could get something close to a program using a static flow test with air, but this would be less than acceptable for an accurate solution or high tolerance.

The only way to get accurate flow rates with injector nozzles is to flow diesel at nominal pressure for a minute and measure. This is best done with a test bench and a mechanical injection pump delivering a constant supply of say 20,000 psi. When comparing injectors..... flow rate is one specification but the material that the nozzle is made of plus the angles of the nozzle holes and number of holes are even more important. I had Industrial Injection nozzles that had 4 of the stock holes EDM'd to 10thou where as stock they are about 5.5thou I believe. These injectors were measured at 62LPM. My F1 Flux threes had definitely small holes that were definitely at different angles. Despite using a full complement of injector cleaners I could not keep the II's from carboning up for daily driving. When they were clean they could smoke out a mall parking lot. When they were dirty, performance was less than stock. The Flux threes showed very little sign of carboning up after about 5k with very little fuel conditioner added. I have been using 80ppm sulfur diesel for most of the trucks life except on trips to the US to pick up the good olde #2. I too wish that all nozzles were tested for flow at the same method so that you could compare the injectors from different vendors. Given that all use different methods.....I'll stick with DonM's F1 Flux's while I'm running a Cummins. ks
